Fritz (Frederick) H. Graese, 66, passed on to eternal life Jan 3, 2012. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, January 8th at Peace Lutheran Church in Sterling. Fritz’s remains will be laid to rest in Alaska at a later time. Continue Reading

News from The Kenai River Center

There has been a lot of talk about the status of the KPB Ordinance regarding Habitat Protection District – and how that will relate to Seldovia and our waterways – in particular the Seldovia Slough.
It was important to make sure that we had accurate information, and the true facts about the situation so I have been in contact with the Kenai River Center on numerous occasions to receive the official outcome/affect that this ordinance may have on our waterways. It is Pizza Club Day!

Today is Pizza Club Day, and Karen Bornheimer’s Class will be selling the following pizzas:
- Cheese – $12
- Pepperoni – $16
- Hawaiian – $16
- Sausage – $16
- Meat Lover’s – $18
at the SBE school cafeteria from 3:00pm to 5:15pm.
Let me just say – THEY ARE AWESOME! The pizzas are huge, with generous amounts of ingredients and they are absolutely delicious!
