Want to get involved with shaping Seldovia’s future? Now is the time to step up and run for City Council. Councilmembers serve an important role as decisionmakers for the City.
Candidacy filing period is open and closes Friday August 15th @ 4:30pm.
There are (4) four seats up for election this October 7th; (2) two 3-year terms, and (2) two 2-year partial terms…
The deadline to file is August 15th, 2025 at 4:30pm. Candidate packets are available online or at the City Office.

Qualified candidates must be 1) a citizen of the United States, 2) a registered voter within the City of Seldovia and 3) a resident of the City for at least 6 months preceding the date of declaration for candidacy.
