Request for Proposal: Jakolof Bay Dock Replacement Project
The City of Seldovia is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the removal and replacement of the existing dock in Jakolof Bay, Alaska. Replacement of the dock includes the design and construction of a new floating timber dock facility and related improvements.
Specific details, geometry, and performance criteria for the float system are described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). It is necessary that the Contractor’s team be highly experienced in the design, manufacturing, handling, and installation of timber marina float systems anchored by steel guide pile systems, and the construction of related harbor infrastructure described in the contract documents.
