Update: 7:30am January 28, 2026. Per HEA
We’re lining up a flight to get a crew over. We expect them to get their around 9:00. They will patrol the line feeding Seldovia and make the repairs necessary. We will also patrol the line between Seldovia and Port Graham to restore service there. I will provide you with another update a little later this morning.
Looks like we are in for a long night Seldovia.
Per HEA two thirds of town is on generation power while the third leg that feeds Nanwalek and Port Graham is out for the night due to a weather related equipment failure.
Visit HEAs power outage map to check for outage locations and please stay safe and as warm as possible. We will confirm repair status with HEA first thing in the morning.
