Seldovia Recreational Service Area, Special Meeting, Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 @ 5:15pm
The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (KPBSD) Board of Education has announced that it will no longer fund pools within the district. Beginning July 1, 2026, the Susan B. English School Pool will no longer be funded by KPBSD.
The SRSA Board is proposing to raise those funds through a short-term mill rate increase for FY27, while other solutions are being actively explored.
We want to hear thoughts and questions from community members and property owners.
KPBSD Representatives will be in attendance.
