“Having grown up in Seldovia, we utilized Homer Air, Smokey Bay Air, Mako’s water taxi, The Rainbow Connection, the State Ferry system… whatever means we could (often weather dependent) to travel for band/choir, sports, etc. 
(Our nephew Michael lives in Seldovia but has been playing basketball on a combined team with kids from Port Graham and Nawalek. 
I can’t imagine the actual cost for us as a team back then but know that costs have only continued to increase over that years. $$$
These athletes work hard and deserve the opportunity to travel and play @ Regions! If you can find it in your hearts (and pocket books) to donate even a small amount- they would be so grateful.
